How do I make ComBoard speak my message?
Type your message, then tap Speak. ComBoard reads the whole message aloud in a clear, natural voice. You can also have it speak automatically a moment after you stop typing — turn that on in Settings → Speech. Yes/No buttons speak instantly.
How does voice dictation work?
Tap Listen, speak naturally, then tap Stop. Your words are added to the message box. Dictation is processed on your device wherever your device supports it. You'll be asked for microphone and speech‑recognition permission the first time.
How do I use hands‑free eye control?
ComBoard works with Apple's built‑in Eye Tracking. Turn it on in iOS Settings → Accessibility → Eye Tracking (iPhone or iPad running iOS 18 or later) and follow the short calibration. Then look at a key and hold your gaze to select it — every button in ComBoard is built to be selected this way. ComBoard's own Settings → Accessibility has a shortcut and step‑by‑step guide. ComBoard does not use its own camera tracking.
Is there a free trial, and what happens after it?
Yes — every feature is free for 14 days. After that, a single one‑time purchase unlocks ComBoard permanently. Your settings and learned words are kept; unlocking simply restores full access. Tap Unlock on the lock screen or in Settings, or Restore Purchases if you've already bought it.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad. Speech and dictation work broadly; hands‑free eye control uses Apple's Eye Tracking, which requires iOS 18 or later.
